Our stay, in two parts

The mud and the marvels.

Bugs. The mosquitoes from the reservoir at dusk are aggressive enough that we stopped eating outside after night one.

Kayaking at sunrise on water like glass. Five other people in the whole campground.

Cell signal for work hours. We could actually take meetings.

Best season

When to go.

July through September. Spring is muddy; the rest of the year, it rains.

Reservation tips

How to book.
